The painting „The Meanings of Color” was painted on November 6, 2022 by Tadeusz Delman.
The work was made on a linen canvas, 80 cm high and 140 cm wide.
“The Meanings of Color” is visual poetry, where each stripe becomes a verse in an unknown alphabet of emotions. The artist uses structure and the intensity of color to create a code, a secret message written in light and texture.
Each vertical rectangle tells its own story, filled with contrast, expression, and energy, coming to life in a new dimension under UV light. It is then that the painting begins to reveal its hidden nature, prompting the viewer to reflect on how color influences our perception, emotions, and thoughts.
“The Meanings of Color” is not just a visual artwork, but an experiment in how we interpret reality.
What does red mean to you? What does green say? What story does blue tell?
This painting doesn’t provide answers – it asks the questions, and lets the colors speak for themselves
The artist made the work using a combination of three painting techniques: structures, pouring and classic brush painting using acrylic paints.
The author of the painting used intense and neon colors with UV characteristics to create the work. In combination with the black background, the painting under UV light gives the impression of three-dimensional.
The side of the painting has been painted in a matte gray color, giving the impression of elegance in combination with black background.
The painting can be hung in four different planes, which allows for a large variety of work.
The painting is signed by the artist.
Due to his passion for technology, the artist installed an NFC chip with a signature, which is a certificate of work authenticity.
